There are a lot of modifications made for Minecraft over the years. Some may be incompatible, approved or is strictly forbidden on our Network.
Please Note: Any specific modifications on this list were checked when added. If a specific modification has updated to include unfair features, it may now no longer be allowed. Please remember that use of modifications, including the ones on this page, is at your own risk.
What is and isn't allowed?
Any modification that gives a significant advantage in-game, whether hardware or software based, is not allowed. Modifications which alter the way your client sends data is not allowed, even if they fall under any of the categories. All use of modifications is done at your own risk, meaning if you misinterprete any meaning of this guide, you are still held fully responsible.
Categories of Allowed Modifications
- Client peformance improvement modifications (e.g. FPS improvement mods).
- Aesthetic modifications (e.g. shaders modifications).
- Armor and Effect Status hud modifications
- Brightness and gamma adjustment modifications
- Minimap modifications, provided they do not show additional data such as players, entities or underground cave systems.
Any other categories of modifications should be treated as disallowed.
Armor & Status Effects
Armor Status, Effect Status, HudPixel, 5Zig, etc.
Client modifications which add armor and/or potion effects to the Minecraft GUI (Graphical User Interface), outside of the inventory. Do note that Health Indicators, displaying players or other entities health are not allowed.
Minimaps are allowed in limited use. Minimaps cannot show entities, or underground maps.
Optifine and other client modifications which explicit purpose is to improve client FPS is allowed.
All client side modifications to allow recording and playback is allowed.
Any modification that changes the visual apperance of the game to make it more aesthetically pleasing is allowed.
